Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years or Master’s with 10+ years experience
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification and a professional networking cert
- 12–15 years progressive network engineering, 5+ years in architecture/senior design for DoD environments
- Expert-level routing/switching knowledge (BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS) and data center fabrics (VXLAN/EVPN)
- Experience with next-gen firewalls, secure remote access, and Type 1 encryption
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise network architecture across DoD environments
- Produce high/low level designs for WAN, data center, and campus
- Drive Zero Trust alignment and security artifact development for eMAss/ATO
- Mentor engineers and lead design reviews with government leadership
- Champion network modernization, automation, and IaC practices
