Job summary

SAIC's Air Force, Space and Intelligence Business Group seeks a Network Architect SME to support the DCSA One IT program, delivering secure, scalable enterprise networks for national security.

The role requires deep expertise in routing, switching, cloud architectures, Zero Trust, and compliance with DoD standards, including DoD 8500.2 and DISA STIGs. On-site work at secure facilities may be required; occasional travel is possible.

Qualifications

• It is required that the Network Architect SME have the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• 14+ years of progressive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale enterprise network architectures, including classified environments.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) or equivalent.
• Security+ CE (CISSP highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced, scalable, and resilient enterprise network architectures aligned with mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Design end-to-end solutions including LAN/WAN, data center, cloud, and hybrid connectivity with IAM, encryption, and MFA.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure compliance with DoD 8500.2 and DISA STIGs.
• Lead modernization efforts, mentor staff, and drive DevSecOps integration for automation and analytics.
