ORBIS Inc. in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Operations Manager to support the Program Executive Officer for Aircraft Carriers (PEO CVN) at the Washington Navy Yard.

The role focuses on coordinating operation strategies, policy development, budgeting, scheduling, and staff training to ensure timely, efficient output. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of operations management experience within a US Navy command or equivalent, holds an active SECRET clearance, and is a US citizen.

Competenze

• 10+ years experience in operations management for a US Navy command or similar organization.
• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Active SECRET clearance and US citizenship.

Mansioni

• Manage and coordinate the PEO's operation strategies and activities.
• Review, develop, and implement PEO policies, practices, and operating goals.
• Review, analyze, and prepare reports and directives with managers to support planning.
• Organize resources, provide work direction, set schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure staff training and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Monitor costs, prepare department budgets, and manage calendars and travel orders.
• Process security functions such as visit requests and property passes.
• Manage inventory of office supplies and maintain office equipment.
