Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) to join a small team providing IA architecture analysis and security engineering support for NC3, COG, and senior leader communications. You will conduct risk assessments, design and operate real-time threat detection, and help define security objectives with stakeholders.

Requirements include a BS in a related field with 14+ years of ISSE experience, and CISSP or CASP certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree and minimum 14 years of ISSE/Systems Engineer experience on relevant programs.
CISSP or CASP certification required.
Strong writing skills for senior DoD briefing.
Experience with RMF and cybersecurity risk assessments.
Knowledge of NIST SP 800 series and CNSSI 1253 is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and provide prioritized mitigation.
Support design, implementation, and operation of real-time threat discovery and mitigation.
Analyze candidate architectures against security requirements to identify gaps and propose remediations.
Research emerging technologies to evaluate cybersecurity effectiveness.
Engage stakeholders to align security objectives and validation methods.
Assist in security design and integration across networks and enclaves.
