Job summary

The Red Gate Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide expert financial management and resource planning support for a complex DoD program. This role oversees budget formulation, execution, justification, financial analysis, and funding documentation to ensure compliance with federal and DoD financial management policies.

The successful candidate will support program leadership by maintaining accurate financial records and audit readiness across all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years in resource management with budget formulation, justification and execution in a U.S. Government agency.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Final or Interim Secret security clearance.
• Hybrid work environment at Government or contractor facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide resource management support for budget formulation, justification, execution, and planning.
• Develop, coordinate, and submit required DoD/federal budget documentation on schedule.
• Monitor funding execution and financial performance for compliance with laws and guidance.
• Prepare funding documents, financial reports, budget exhibits, and leadership documents.
• Track financial transactions to maintain audit trails and support audit readiness.
• Analyze budget execution, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders on funding requirements and issue resolution.
• Ensure all financial documentation is accurate and compliant with directives.
• Support PPBE-related planning, programming, budgeting, and execution activities.
• Maintain financial records and documentation to satisfy federal audit requirements.
