Job summary

Alexandria Insights, Inc. in Stafford, Virginia seeks a Budget/Financial Analyst to provide financial management support to DoD acquisition and program management offices.

You will develop spend plans, support POM submissions, maintain auditable records, and offer analytical support across the program lifecycle, working closely with program managers, contracting officers, and customers to ensure accurate financial execution and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of related finance or business analysis experience.
• Security Clearance: Eligible for secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of spend plans, budget exhibits, financial action requests, and below threshold realignments.
• Assist with POM development, ensuring accuracy and alignment with program requirements.
• Create and maintain financial tracking documents with accurate and timely updates.
• Support updates to Capital Asset Cost Forms (CACFs) for capital asset military equipment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to document contract and reimbursable funding, equipment exchanges and transfers, capital improvements, delivered assets, and other required financial data.
• Maintain auditable financial records and assist with audit responses.
• Monitor and report on financial execution performance against benchmarks.
• Liaise with customers to capture and address financial requirements.
• Demonstrate proficiency in standard financial software and reporting tools.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of financial products.
