Tecolote Research, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Cost Analyst to develop life cycle cost estimates and support Army and DoD budgeting. You will gather data, produce detailed analyses, and present findings to senior leadership.

The role requires strong analytical skills, DoD familiarity, and the ability to communicate complex results effectively. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of cost estimating experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Sciences, Operations Research or related disciplines.
• At least five years of cost estimating/analysis experience in the DoD/military arena, plus three additional years in related work.
• Experience with ACEIT/IFCM or similar cost estimation tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop life cycle cost estimates (LCCE) and program office estimates to determine total program costs.
• Support development of P-Forms and RDTE (R-Forms) and briefings for SPAR-POM and APBB.
• Gather responses to internal and external RFIs and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Create comprehensive, easily understood presentations for decision makers.
