Job summary

Serco is seeking an Anti‑Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti‑Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires a TOP‑SECRET clearance with SCI access and involves evaluating vulnerabilities in weapon systems, performing security engineering tasks, and collaborating with DoD labs and industry partners.

The engineer will work on security classifications, threat assessments, and program protection to reduce risk and protect critical information.

Qualifications

• Active TOP‑SECRET clearance with ability to obtain SCI and access to SAP
• Master's degree in an Engineering discipline with extensive DoD experience
• Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering processes and anti‑tamper methods to weapon systems
• Assess integrated circuitry and memory chips and determine reverse engineering approaches
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including RFPs and oversight
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility
• Assess capabilities to meet design requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with labs and industry partners to evaluate vulnerabilities and exploitation risks
• Identify technologies to protect CPI and program information
• Work with DoD teams to understand designs and vulnerabilities
• Assist in improving anti‑tamper design, development, and sustainment
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in tests
• Conduct risk assessments and scheduling trade‑offs
• Create and maintain security classification guides
