Job summary

KIHOMAC, Inc. seeks an acquisition and program management professional to support DoD AWACS modernization efforts. You will provide cost, schedule, and performance guidance to PM and IPT leads, coordinate acquisition strategies, and prepare senior-level briefings and reports.

The role requires 5+ years of general experience, 3+ years in the DoD sector, and an active Secret clearance. This position involves travel up to 20% and collaboration with multiple defense contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with DoD sector experience desired.
• 5+ years general experience; 3+ years working in the DoD sector.
• Active Secret clearance and US citizenship required.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government and contractor teams.
• Experience with DoD policies and AWACS modernization processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide program-level acquisition support to PM and IPT Leads to ensure disciplined execution.
• Advise program leadership on overall program health and options to meet cost/schedule/performance objectives.
• Develop acquisition strategy inputs for RFPs, SOWs, SRDs, CDRLs, and evaluation criteria.
• Prepare acquisition reports, senior-level briefings, and statutory documentation.
• Identify and resolve policy disconnects; track acquisition reform initiatives and risk items.
