Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced Acquisition Program Manager to support DoD AWACS modernization programs, providing program-level acquisition guidance to the PM and IPT leads.

You will coordinate policy compliance, contract and source selection activities, and maintain program reporting while working with cross-functional teams. A background in DoD acquisitions and strong MS Office skills are essential, along with US citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of general experience.
• 3+ years working in the DoD sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide program-level acquisition support to the PM and IPT Leads.
• Advise program leadership on overall program health and options to maintain cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Interpret, coordinate, and execute acquisition project assignments; identify and resolve issues with significant impact to acquisition and sustainment efforts.
• Develop source selection strategies and provide administrative and evaluation support.
• Review and track prime contractor deliverables, schedules, and contractual performance.
• Draft contractual correspondence related to program management issues.
