Job summary

Jaquith Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to lead advanced document control for the California High-Speed Rail project.

You will oversee systems, standards, and compliance, driving continuous improvement of the enterprise Document Control System. Under the Document Control Manager, you will ensure accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness while mentoring team members and coordinating with IT, procurement, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience managing document control on complex programs or capital projects.
• Knowledge of document management systems, controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with Office tools, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and enterprise DMS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME and technical lead for document control systems and standards.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Document Controllers and project teams.
• Act as system administrator for the enterprise Document Control System, handling configuration and workflows.
• Oversee intake, processing, storage, distribution, and archival activities for compliance.
• Ensure naming conventions, version control, metadata, and classification standards.
• Support audit readiness and documentation traceability.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and compliance to meet project needs.
• Develop SOPs, desk manuals, and user guides; monitor performance metrics.
