Job summary

Louisiana Bridge Builders is seeking a Document Control Coordinator Lead based in Lake Charles, LA, to manage project documentation for major infrastructure work. The role focuses on coordinating control activities, ensuring approvals, and supporting contract management within the project team.

The candidate should have a degree in a related field and substantial document control experience, with senior or lead exposure preferred and familiarity with industry software systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, construction management, or related field with 6+ years of document control experience.
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with 10+ years of document control experience.
• Prior senior or lead experience is preferred; experience with document control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project document control.
• Resolve document control issues with client and third parties.
• Establish document management strategy and procedures.
• Support in execution stage and ensure interface with other departments.
• Ensure transmission of design, construction, and commercial information to project team.
• Manage contracts related to document control if applicable.
• Identify document control risks and contribute to risk reports.
