Job summary

Opportune is seeking a Sr. Division Order Analyst to determine royalty and working interest ownership by analyzing title documents and owner correspondence.

The role focuses on maintaining and updating records to reflect current ownership, working within the Land Administration team in our Northwest, Houston office. You will analyze title opinions, resolve title issues, and set up or expire properties as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Division Order Analyst experience.
• Experience in land administration is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Division Order Title Opinions to establish ownership.
• Assist client in resolving title issues/disputes.
• Set up new properties and expire inactive ones.
• Examine deeds, assignments, conveyances and related documents.
• Update Opportune systems to reflect ownership changes.
• Prepare Division/Transfer Orders per record title ownership.
• Communicate with owners regarding Division Order questions.
• Assist Royalty Relations with inquiries on ownership and calculations.
• Support internal projects related to Division Order issues.
• Process executed Division/Transfer Orders and address changes in systems.
