Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field of study with a minimum of 5 years experience managing projects, construction or distribution line and operations.
• OR Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related field of study with a minimum of 7 years experience managing projects, construction or distribution line and operations
• OR High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years experience managing projects, construction or distribution line and operations.
• 5 years of direct supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal interface between the project management office and distribution engineering to initiate, plan, execute, and monitor/control the annual district work plan.
• Provide overall leadership and supervision responsibilities to the district work scheduling department including line coordinators, administrative associates, district schedulers, inspectors, resource analyst, and department assistant.
• Support and hold employees and contractors accountable to the AEP Safety Standards; ensuring a safe working environment focused on achieving Zero Harm.
• Promote and strive to ensure a positive working environment and lead a culture of excellence.
• Manage the oversight of all aspects related to the district budget and alignment to the work plan.
• Accomplish results by including communication of job expectations across the district work scheduling team by setting performance objectives, establishing clear priorities, providing adequate coaching and feedback to the department staff.
