Job summary

American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Distribution System Supervisor to lead safe, reliable distribution services. You will oversee construction, maintenance, and operation while enforcing safety programs and directing resources within budgets.

The role requires a strong history in distribution operations, supervisory experience, and the ability to travel to various sites for extended periods. CDL preferred and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree with experience is acceptable.
• Minimum 7 years in distribution, construction, maintenance or operations.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in distribution or related areas.
• Able to travel to multiple locations 1–5 days as needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; see/hear well.
