Job summary
Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Lexington, KY, seeks a senior sales leader to manage a specialty team focused on CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar and depression therapies.
You will recruit, coach, and develop high-performing representatives, drive results, and build strong clinical relationships with healthcare providers. The role requires 10+ years in pharma, with 4 years in sales management, willingness to travel up to 75 percent, and the ability to secure credentialing across providers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry with 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
- Leadership experience required; travel up to 75%.
- Specialty experience in CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar or depression preferred.
- Ability to recruit, retain and develop high performing team of specialty sales representatives.
- Demonstrated high performance of sales and leadership track record.
- Driver's license and clean driving history.
- Ability to secure credentialing with healthcare providers and facilities.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Must reside near a major airport within the district.
