Job summary

Eversource Energy seeks an experienced engineer to lead distribution planning projects, evaluate alternatives, and support regulatory filings. The role focuses on planning substations, distribution lines, and DER integration, with collaboration across engineering, asset management, and operations.

The candidate will perform scenario studies, build distribution models, and present findings to management, while traveling between MA/CT/NH as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years related experience in planning, design, and operations for distribution systems.
• Experience with distribution substation facilities and underground networks.
• Professional Engineer license in CT/MA/NH desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform planning studies for distribution systems and DER integration.
• Develop 2-5 year and 5+ year distribution plans.
• Create and validate distribution models and perform voltage/power factor studies.
