Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years related experience in planning, design, and operations for distribution line, distribution substation facilities, and underground network systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electric Power Systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct distribution planning studies and recommend solutions to ensure reliability.
• Develop 2-5 year and 5+ year distribution plans addressing load relief, capacity, asset issues, and DER integration.
• Build, maintain, and validate distribution models with power system simulation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups to plan integration of PV, EV, and battery storage technologies.
• Prepare contingency studies and N-1/N-2 analyses for distribution networks.
• Propose new distribution substations and related feeders.
• Prepare regulatory documentation and testimony for filings and proceedings.
• Present recommendations to senior management and committees.
