Job summary

The role collaborates with System Planning managers in other states and with Integrated Energy Planning, Advanced Forecasting, and Transmission Planning to develop a coordinated plan that ensures safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the electric power system and distribution planning.
• Experience with DER interconnection study methodologies and related tools.
• Strong modeling concepts and data-driven analysis skills.
• Proven ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across departments.

Responsibilities

• Owns Distribution System Planning and DER Planning activities in New Hampshire.
• Develops processes and standards for system modeling and analysis with state-to-state coordination.
• Mentors engineers to produce state-of-the-art analyses for reliability and capacity.
• Presents regulatory testimony and supports rate cases as needed.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to vet and socialize system upgrade plans.
