Job summary

Get Fresh Produce, a Chicago-origin distribution and retail team, seeks a senior Operations leader in Indiana to own the distribution center P&L, guide cost optimization, and drive safety and quality across inbound/outbound logistics.

The role requires 7–10 years in distribution/logistics with a strong P&L track record, plus expertise in ERP/WMS systems and data analytics. Expect a leadership-driven, fast-paced environment focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a P&L management role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing operations in a high-volume distribution environment.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Financial Management – Full accountability for the P&L of the distribution center, budgeting, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Operations Management – Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, warehousing, inventory, and transportation; drive efficiency and safety.
• Leadership and Team Development – Recruit, train, mentor, set performance goals, and conduct reviews.
• Customer Focus – Build relationships, ensure on-time and accurate orders, resolve issues promptly.
• Strategic Planning and Continuous Improvement – Develop strategies and pursue cost optimization and best practices.
• Compliance and Risk Management – Ensure safety, food safety, and policy compliance; conduct audits.
• Key Performance Indicators – Monitor P&L, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction metrics.
