Job summary

ResMed in Moreno Valley, CA seeks a Distribution Manager to lead a large distribution center, align shifts, and drive safe, high-quality service. You’ll guide four Area Managers and 80 indirect staff, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely customer deliveries while standardizing processes and building capable leaders on the floor.

You will optimize labor plans, manage WMS/Oracle-based controls, and collaborate with site leaders to balance quality, delivery, workforce, and budget.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in warehouse or distribution operations.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/people-leadership experience.
• Experience implementing inventory control systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience leading across multiple shifts or broad operational scope.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements for warehouse, distribution, and shipping environments.
• Experience using a warehouse management system to support accuracy and control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to align teams.
• Customer-focused approach to protecting service, quality, and delivery.
• Availability to adjust hours for operational needs and occasional after-hours escalations.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution operations across both shifts to meet safety, quality, service, and delivery priorities.
• Guide Area Managers and ~80 indirect employees with clear expectations and on-floor decisions.
• Champion safety programs, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance.
• Translate forecasts into practical labor plans balancing workloads and costs.
• Align staffing and priorities daily so shifts operate as one center.
• Standardize methods and communication across shifts to avoid process re-learning.
• Develop Area Managers and hourly teams through coaching and mentoring.
• Oversee receipt, inventory movement, packaging, and shipment to ensure on-time delivery.
