Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in warehouse/distribution.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• Experience implementing inventory control systems and continual improvement programs.
• Strong familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Prior WMS experience.
• Knowledge of federal/local OSHA safety regulations for warehousing/shipping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-centric commitment to build relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent.
• Experience with Oracle or comparable SCM systems.

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs ensuring a safe work environment.
• Review forecasts and determine labor needs to meet objectives.
• Balance labor across shifts to meet daily deadlines.
• Foster continuous improvement and elimination of non-value activities.
• Ensure proper training of staff to meet demand.
• Mentor and motivate hourly workforce.
• Manage materials received, delivered, and shipped on time.
• Maintain quality objectives within budget and deadlines.
• Prepare reports reflecting department effectiveness.
• Collaborate with peers and management to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Maintain product traceability using WMS/Oracle.
