Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or PE license (in lieu of degree).
• Substantial experience in planning, design, cost estimating and scheduling (typically 5+ years).
• Strong organization, documentation, prioritization, and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and adapts guidelines for existing problems or processes.
• Prepares complex designs, standards, studies and analyses.
• Provides detailed design reviews of technical documents.
• Prepares cost estimates and evaluations for project alternatives with minimal supervision.
• Plans and develops project budgets with appropriate documentation.
• Ensures compliance with codes, standards, and design, operation, and maintenance requirements.
• Mentions potential weaknesses and initiates corrective action.
• Shares work with others to strengthen the engineering workforce.
• Supports emergency response work as requested.
