Confluent, a leader in data streaming, seeks a Senior Engineer for WarpStream, an Apache Kafka compatible data streaming platform built on object storage. You’ll impact storage engine, multi-tenant control plane, transactions, and developer console UI, in a small team (<15 engineers) and across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience designing, building, scaling and supporting backend systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, C / C++, Python, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and storage concepts.
• Experience delivering operationally excellent production services.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, with mentorship aptitude.
• Customer-centric mindset and focus on delivering value to users.

Responsabilités

• Independently drive execution of complex technical projects end to end.
• Build mission-critical backend services that deliver value to our customers and are scalable and resilient.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across a distributed stack of microservices, containers, and virtualization.
• Ensure operational readiness and meet availability and performance SLAs for customers.
