Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related technical field with 7+ years backend experience, or Master's with 4+ years.
• Experience with Go or C++ and concurrency models.
• Experience architecting, deploying, and scaling high-volume data pipelines.
• Experience with streaming ingestion systems: Kafka, Pulsar, Spark, Elastic (including analyzing network traffic and latency).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects spanning multiple months from requirements to deployment.
• Set technical vision and coding/design guidelines to raise engineering standards.
• Identify and resolve pre-production bottlenecks and production issues.
• Engage in design and code reviews and learn from customer experiences to prevent issues.
• Make code maintainable and the product diagnosable and serviceable.
• Participate in rotating on-call duties to diagnose customer issues.
