Job summary

Ll Oefentherapie is seeking an experienced engineer to design, implement, and optimize components of highly distributed systems focused on scalability, reliability, availability, security, and operability. You will build and test high-scale services, develop automation and IaC, and leverage state and data-plane technologies for large-scale data processing.

Responsibilities include fault-tolerant design, proactive health monitoring, incident response, and ensuring compliance and security controls

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing scalable distributed-system components for high-volume data retrieval, storage, and processing.
• Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with monitoring, telemetry, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable distributed-system components for high-volume data retrieval, storage, and processing.
• Optimize system performance and implement scalability, performance, and load-testing requirements.
• Build resilient, fault-tolerant components using replication, failover, recovery-oriented design, retries, circuit breakers, and timeouts.
• Develop testing, telemetry, dashboards, alarms, and alerting to proactively identify service health and reliability issues.
• Design and test features for correctness, availability, data integrity, and synchronization, including fault-injection scenarios.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, develop troubleshooting automation, and participate in operational support, incident response, and root cause investigations.
• Apply security controls, including encryption and access management, and implement remediation activities to improve security.
• Develop and maintain automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Follow change-management, compliance, security, and documentation requirements for cloud services.
