Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead development and architect scalable distributed systems with horizontal and vertical scaling.
• Optimize code and systems for large-scale data processing and high-throughput.
• Define scalability requirements and ensure design/implementation meet them.
• Design elastic systems that scale up and down.
• Leverage data plane platforms for large-scale data retrieval, storage, and processing.
• Design performance and load testing.
• Build fault-tolerant components with redundancy, replication and automatic failover.
• Handle service disruptions by prioritizing consistency, availability, or partition tolerance.
• Implement strategies to handle network unreliability including load-shedding and rate-limiting.
• Ensure components meet service level objectives for availability and durability.
