Job summary

Ll Oefentherapie is seeking a software engineer to implement and optimize components within distributed systems. You will apply scalability requirements, run performance/load tests, configure resiliency features, and contribute to telemetry, alerts, and runbooks under guidance.

You will assist with on-call rotations, use automation/IaC scripts to troubleshoot, and follow security/compliance procedures while escalating complex issues to senior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• No security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing components of distributed systems that support horizontal and vertical scaling under guidance.
• Optimize code segments and systems for large-scale data processing with oversight from senior engineers.
• Implement scalability requirements for assigned components.
• Learn about data plane platforms for large-scale data retrieval, storage, and processing.
• Execute performance and load testing, with guidance.
• Help build dashboards, telemetry systems, and alerting mechanisms to monitor component health.
