Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies (BV Teck) is seeking an accomplished software architect to lead architecture initiatives across multiple teams. You will drive microservices design, domain-driven approaches, and scalable distributed systems in production environments.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes and service-mesh experience, plus strong communication with stakeholders and a focus on cost-efficient cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Eight or more years of software engineering experience with architecture focus.
• Deep expertise in microservices design, domain-driven design, and distributed systems patterns.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C#.
• Strong understanding of API design, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging.
• Experience operating high-traffic, latency-sensitive systems in production.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services across at least one major provider.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architecture initiatives spanning multiple teams.
• Experience with platform engineering and internal developer platform construction.
• Familiarity with service mesh technologies such as Istio/Linkerd/Envoy.
• Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization at scale.
• Public speaking, open-source contributions, or published technical writing.
• Experience in regulated industries with strict compliance requirements.
