Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a seasoned Microservices Architect to lead design and evolution of large-scale microservices on cloud-native stacks. This remote role demands deep expertise in service decomposition, DDD, and distributed data management, with focus on resilience, observability, and security at scale.

You will guide architecture across multiple teams, establish standards for API contracts and CI/CD, and mentor engineers toward best practices while ensuring maintainable estate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with architecture focus.
• Deep expertise in microservices, DDD, and distributed patterns.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and service mesh experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, or C#.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and managed services.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience leading architecture initiatives across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define microservices architecture standards and boundaries aligned with DDD.
• Modernize monoliths into independently deployable services.
• Design service communication patterns (REST, gRPC, messaging).
• Establish API contracts, schema governance, and versioning for safe evolution.
• Architect resilient distributed systems with circuit breakers and bulkheads.
• Define data ownership and patterns like outbox, saga, and CQRS.
