Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Six+ years of professional backend engineering experience with distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL data stores and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Architect data partitioning, replication, and consistency strategies.
• Build APIs and event-driven services with observability and fault-tolerance.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and cost with profiling and load testing.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineers.
