Job summary

Cloudflare is building the next generation of distributed storage services. You will join a motivated team responsible for core storage infrastructure, from hardware to databases, ensuring durability, performance, and scalability across a global network.

You’ll own feature development end-to-end, tackle complex engineering puzzles, and work with Rust, Go, Saltstack, and Terraform to automate operations and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficient programming with Rust/Go/Python.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with distributed databases or storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate globally distributed storage systems.
• Own code from design to release across stack layers.
• Write design docs for provisioning systems and model failure domains.
• Automate operational toil with tooling and automation.
• Collaborate with teams using Rust, Go, Saltstack, and Terraform.
