Cloudflare is seeking a Software Engineer for the Network Performance & Reliability (Argo) team in San Francisco. You will contribute to a highly scalable edge network powering Cloudflare products such as CDN, Spectrum, and Workers, using Rust, Go, Linux networking, and related tech.
You will collaborate across teams and participate in design, code, tests, and production deployments. The role emphasizes solving large-scale problems with AI-assisted tools, maintaining on-call readiness, and
Competenze
- Systems-level programming with Go, Rust, C or C++ is expected; Rust is used extensively.
- A solid grasp of networking protocols in Layers 3 and 4.
- Experience/interest in HTTP networking, CDN, and VPN technologies.
- Experience building secure, highly available distributed systems.
- Strong debugging and collaboration skills.

- Own important aspects of Cloudflare's networks to enable reliable connectivity.
- Contribute to Argo-powered products and platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Network Engineering and SRE teams.
