Job summary

Verano is seeking a results-driven Assistant Dispensary Manager for our Miramar Beach location in Florida. You will oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, inventory, and customer relations to ensure a compliant and profitable dispensary experience.

Responsibilities include coaching employees, communicating programs from corporate, reporting on sales and cash flow, and maintaining accurate records while delivering exceptional service to the adult cannabis community.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years as Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager in retail or hospitality.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Strong integrity and honesty.
• Flexibility for weekends, shifts, and holidays.
• Passion for serving the adult cannabis community.
• Proven ability to manage teams and communicate clearly.
• Proficient in MS Office and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Manage dispensary cashflow, staff, schedules, inventory, and customer relations.
• Serve as role model for staff on products, policies, and regulations.
• Coordinate with corporate retail to communicate information to staff.
• Drive programs by motivating staff to meet objectives.
• Plan and delegate tasks to Assistant Dispensary Manager(s) and teams.
• Communicate daily and weekly goals to staff.
• Lead team meetings on location initiatives and changes.
• Create implementation plans for operational efficiency and profitability.
• Solicit feedback to understand customer needs and community needs.
• Provide training, coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
• Assist upset customers with equitable solutions.
• Provide regular inventory, sales, and profitability reports.
• Maintain records of daily cash reconciliations, sales, deliveries, and returns.
• Assist in interviewing and candidate selection.
• Other duties as assigned.
