Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Yard Dispatcher Supervisor to oversee milk collection and shuttle operations, ensure on-time deliveries, and manage yard staff. You will coordinate with drivers, contractors, and customers to optimize routes and schedules while enforcing safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in trucking/logistics supervision, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with company software.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising dedicated fleet operations.
• Ability to learn service area and delivery locations.
• Knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations.
• Supervisory experience with employees of varied skill sets.
• Customer service experience with time-sensitive deliveries.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with relevant computer software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deliveries in progress and contact drivers with ETA.
• Reroute loads to maintain on-time delivery for downstream stops.
• Prepare routing and delivery instructions for third-party drivers.
• Orient third-party drivers when loads are tendered.
• Assist or stand in for Load Planner when needed.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of yard equipment.
• Enforce safety rules and attendance; administer discipline as needed.
• Maintain reports and coordinate with internal teams and customers.
