Qualifications

• Education or training in distribution, transportation, or related discipline or 1+ years experience in distribution/transportation.
• Ability to learn service area and delivery locations to coordinate driver deliveries.
• Experience using computerized routing software.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate milk shuttle movements to/from the plant facility.
• Interact with customer employees to assure prompt and efficient movement of product.
• Interact with drivers at shuttle window to ensure accuracy of load information.
• Enter data into company and non-company software in real time.
• Monitor status of shuttle drivers and shuttle loads at plant facility.
• Maintain communication with management on status of all shuttle loads.
• Prepare and continually update required reports (status, daily, inbound/outbound).
• Track location of trucks and trailers using computerized tracking software.
• Respond to inquiries from company and customer representatives promptly and professionally.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.
