Job summary

Contact Government Services (CGS) seeks a Senior Discovery Business and System Analyst to join the Legal Department. The role focuses on documenting and redesigning business processes, performing gap analyses, and validating IT solutions against business needs.

You will collect materials from providers, develop data-driven analyses, and create test scripts to evaluate products. This role supports government-projects with a strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Document and manage new and existing business processes for training, analysis, and redesign.
• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Conduct gap analyses for required modifications to business processes.
• Create and maintain a requirements database documenting support for each requirement.
• Validate proposed solutions meet underlying needs.
• Collect marketing materials from industry providers to inform requirements.
• Document and manage functional capabilities of IT solutions.
• Analyze capabilities against business requirements to identify technology gaps.
• Compare marketing materials and deliver an Analysis of Alternatives for PMO prioritization.
• Validate that proposed solutions deliver new functional capabilities addressing existing requirements.
• Build and execute test scripts to evaluate products and provide purchase recommendations.
• Review solution configuration changes to maintain accurate business capability mapping.
• Perform other systems analysis research and documentation tasks as assigned

Responsibilities
