Enterprise retailer in Hoboken, NJ is hiring a Senior User Researcher to join the Product Ventures team onsite. You will lead generative and discovery research to uncover early-stage product opportunities and new revenue streams.

The role emphasizes core product research, sizing customer problems, testing concepts, mapping personas, and guiding product partners on what to build next, in collaboration with product management, engineering, and executives.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of UX/product research experience, with enterprise (B2B) focus.
• Discovery and generative research leadership from inception to impact.
• Strong business sense: product-market fit and revenue potential.
• Ability to present complex findings clearly to directors/VPs.
• Curiosity about AI tools in research with critical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Drive generative and discovery research to validate early venture concepts and map customer workflows.
• Partner with Product Management and Business leaders to evaluate and sequence product bets.
• Design creative research strategies suitable for enterprise environments with limited direct access to users.
• Plan and facilitate learning workshops, concept tests, and cross-functional exercises.
• Synthesize insights into commercially-driven recommendations for executive leadership.
