Job summary
AvePoint is seeking a Senior UX Researcher in Jersey City, NJ. In this role, you will deepen the research our product designers conduct, leading ethnographic studies and usability tests to provide actionable insights for superior design outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in UX Research, with expertise in generative and evaluative methods, and will play a crucial role in shaping the research culture of our multidisciplinary team.
The salary range is competitively set between $100,000 - $125,000, along with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of dedicated UX Research experience, preferably in complex B2B, SaaS or enterprise environments.
- Mastery of both generative (discovery) and evaluative (testing) methods.
- Proven ability to build or optimize a user recruitment program from the ground up.
- Experience working in a high-functioning design team where research directly informs UI/UX iterations.
Responsibilities
- Lead deep-dive ethnographic studies and stakeholder interviews.
- Design and moderate high-rigor usability tests for design team insights.
- Blend qualitative interviews with quantitative metrics.
- Synthesize raw data into clear findings for designers.
- Manage a sustainable user recruitment pipeline.
