Job summary

Steneral Consulting is seeking a Senior Disaster Recovery Project Manager to lead enterprise DR and IT resiliency initiatives. This remote, contract role spans 6-12+ months and requires hands-on leadership, risk management, and executive communication.

You will organize technical teams, oversee DR testing and remediation, maintain schedules and RAID logs, and ensure alignment with industry best practices. PMP and related certifications are preferred.

• Proven experience leading Disaster Recovery and IT resiliency projects.
• Ability to drive execution with minimal oversight in fast-paced environments.
• Strong risk management and executive reporting capabilities.
• Hands-on leadership coordinating technical teams across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex Disaster Recovery (DR) and IT Resiliency projects for enterprise environments.
• Take ownership of DR initiatives, driving execution with minimal oversight in a fast-paced setting.
• Organize and coordinate technical teams to plan, execute, and test disaster recovery activities.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and remediation plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, RAID logs, RACI matrices, and executive-level reporting.
• Oversee DR testing, exercises, and remediation to ensure business continuity and infrastructure resilience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and provide strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication.
• Manage projects involving cloud, data center, network, server, storage, security, and enterprise application components.
• Serve as a hands‑on, self‑directed project manager capable of independently identifying next steps and removing roadblocks.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Preferred: PMP; CBCP, CISM, CISSP, ITIL, Agile, or cloud certifications.
