Job summary

Steneral Consulting is seeking a Senior Disaster Recovery Project Manager based in Dallas/Frisco or nearby offices to lead DR and infrastructure resiliency initiatives with minimal oversight.

You will organize technical teams, manage risks, coordinate across cloud, data center, networks, and security, and deliver executive status reports while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Business/CS/Cybersecurity.
• 8+ years IT project/program management experience.
• 3+ years leading Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Resiliency, or Infrastructure Recovery projects.
• Experience with DR planning, exercises, testing, and remediation.
• Ability to independently identify next steps, resolve roadblocks, and drive results.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership and lead disaster recovery (DR) and infrastructure resiliency projects with minimal oversight.
• Organize and drive technical teams to execute DR planning, testing, remediation, and reporting.
• Surface and mitigate risks, manage project deliverables, and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate complex infrastructure initiatives across cloud, data center, server, storage, network, security, or applications.
• Develop and manage project schedules, RAID logs, RACI matrices, dependencies, executive status reports, and remediation plans.
• Communicate with executives and stakeholders, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
