Job summary
Goodwill Greater New York and Northern New Jersey (GWNYNJ) seeks a Senior Director of Workforce and Community Engagement to lead employment, recovery, peer leadership, and systems change initiatives in NYC. You will oversee program portfolios, ensure regulatory compliance, and cultivate partnerships with funders, government agencies, and employers.
The role requires a Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of senior leadership experience in behavioral health or workforce development,
Qualifications
- Master's degree required; licensure or advanced certification preferred.
- Five+ years of progressive leadership in behavioral health or workforce development.
- Experience supervising managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with government contracts and public funding.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight across employment, recovery, peer leadership, and systems transformation programs.
- Oversee program operations, compliance, and fidelity to evidence-based models.
- Build employer and community partnerships to advance equitable workforce initiatives.
- Supervise program directors and multidisciplinary staff; foster accountability and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present reports for funders and executive leadership.
