News Corp is seeking a Senior Director, Technical Vulnerability Management & Remediation Orchestration in NYC. You’ll lead the global vulnerability remediation strategy, partnering with Cyber Security, Tech Ops, and BU leadership to drive remediation, reporting, and risk-based prioritization.

The role targets 10+ years in IT security with global leadership experience, overseeing CTEM-driven processes, RBVM, and enterprise-grade tooling including Jira and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; CISSP/CISM/CRISC desirable.
• 10+ years IT security/Cybersecurity operations experience, including global leadership.
• Ability to translate complex risks into executive-level insights and drive cross-BU alignment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a global vulnerability remediation strategy across cloud, infra, apps, containers, and edge systems.
• Govern remediation workflows, SLAs, and RBVM alignment with CTEM principles.
• Lead cross-BU governance meetings, risk reviews, and remediation prioritization.
• Partner with Cyber Security and Tech Ops to ensure comprehensive vulnerability detection and coverage.
• Automate remediation workflows in Jira/ServiceNow and drive continuous improvement.
