Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Management SME - VP to strengthen cyber risk posture across the enterprise. You will lead vulnerability identification, testing, and remediation within a threat-informed defense strategy, partnering with Technology, Engineering and Cybersecurity teams in Whippany, NJ.

You will drive risk reduction through effective vulnerability discovery, CVE interpretation, and alignment with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls, while engaging with external communities

Qualifications

• Proficiency with vulnerability scanning and assessment tools.
• Understanding of risk-based remediation prioritization.
• Experience communicating findings to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assign risk ratings and remediation prioritization based on standards.
• Develop and maintain vulnerability management policies and procedures.
• Communicate vulnerabilities to stakeholders with dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with threat intelligence to contextualize exposure and set remediation timescales.
• Define requirements for automation to streamline processes.
