Job summary

HRforGrowth seeks a Director of Vendor Management to lead end-to-end vendor strategy and daily management for a nationwide remodel program. You will oversee onboarding, contracting, performance, and cost control across hundreds of vendors, driving dozens of store remodels weekly.

The role emphasizes data analytics, Excel-intensive modeling, and executive reporting to keep thousands of concurrent work orders on schedule and budget. Strong leadership and stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive vendor management experience.
• 5+ years leading teams.
• Expert-level Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, Power Query).
• Proven track record negotiating MSAs, rate cards, and volume pricing.
• Strong vendor KPIs, SLAs, and governance experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, construction management, finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the end-to-end vendor management strategy for a large remodel program.
• Lead onboarding, qualification, insurance/compliance for hundreds of vendors.
• Maintain vendor scorecards, cost models, capacity plans, and rollout trackers.
• Develop advanced Excel models and dashboards for ongoing program health.
• Manage risk, compliance, and performance across supplier base.
