Job summary

Recom is seeking an experienced procurement leader to own vendor spend, negotiate contracts, run RFPs, and approve invoices. The role offers direct access to senior executives and the authority to drive significant savings across software, services, and facilities.

You will manage contract repositories, ensure proper pricing and terms, and partner with Accounting to support month-end close while eliminating waste and maverick spending.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in procurement, vendor management, strategic sourcing, or related finance/operations.
• Track record of negotiating contracts and delivering cost savings.
• Hands-on experience running RFPs from scope through award.
• Experience with accounts payable workflows and invoice review/approval.
• Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation of all new contracts, renewals, and amendments with external vendors and service providers.
• Secure favorable pricing, terms, SLAs, and exit clauses; collaborate with legal for contract language.
• Maintain a central contract repository with renewal dates and notices.
• Run RFPs for multiple spend categories; build shortlists and scoring criteria.
