Job summary

HRforGrowth is representing a client seeking a Director, Vendor Management to lead the end-to-end vendor strategy for a national 6,000-store remodel program. This high-velocity role oversees onboarding, contracting, performance, and cost control across hundreds of vendors.

You will own the data backbone, building vendor scorecards, cost models, capacity plans, and rollout trackers, turning a sprawling supplier landscape into a measurable, repeatable operating machine.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of vendor management and procurement experience.
• Experience leading large, multi-site programs (retail remodels, facilities, or construction).
• Strong Excel modeling, KPI/SLAs, and data-driven governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern vendor strategy and portfolio for a national remodel program.
• Oversee onboarding, qualification, insurance/compliance for hundreds of vendors.
• Develop advanced Excel models and dashboards for cost, capacity, and rollout forecasting.
• Lead cost variance, budget-vs-actual, and savings analyses across the vendor base.
• Partner with PMO/IT to scale models into procurement/PM platforms and BI tools.
