Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• Strong experience in U.S. GAAP, close, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
• Proven people-leader experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Excellent executive communication with senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for U.S. accounting operations, including general ledger, close, consolidation, and statutory reporting processes.
• Serve as Assistant Controller, supporting governance, policy deployment, and enterprise controllership strategy.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX, internal control frameworks, and Johnson & Johnson/DePuy Synthes policies.
• Lead external audit coordination, including planning, execution, issue resolution, and reporting to management.
• Oversee accounting implications of acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, and separation-related activities.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Supply Chain, and Commercial Finance to ensure integrated financial outcomes.
• Drive automation and standardization of accounting and close processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Lead, develop, and mentor Directors, Senior Managers, and high-performing finance professionals.
