Qualifications

PhD in cancer biology, molecular biology, or related field with extensive industry experience.
Strong understanding of oncology biology, signaling pathways, and drug response mechanisms.
Experience with biomarker research and translational studies supporting oncology drug development.
Familiarity with clinical biospecimen workflows and external biomarker vendors.
Ability to design, execute, analyze, and interpret translational research.
Excellent written and verbal scientific communication for multidisciplinary audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of biomarker and pharmacodynamic strategies across clinical studies.
Collaborate with preclinical teams to design translational studies informing indication and combos.
Analyze and present biomarker data to support clinical development decisions.
Integrate biomarker findings with clinical/molecular data to generate hypotheses.
Oversee external vendors for biospecimen storage, assays, and bioinformatics analyses.
Review literature and attend conferences to stay current in oncology biomarkers.
