Job summary

Verastem Oncology is seeking a senior biostatistician to oversee statistical activities across a clinical program and contribute to study design and protocol development.

You will perform analyses of trial data, contribute to regulatory submissions, and guide cross-functional teams in statistics and programming. This hands-on role supports publications and CRO oversight within a fast-paced oncology environment.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in statistics with extensive clinical trial experience.
• Proficient in SAS; R is a plus.
• Deep knowledge of FDA, EMA and ICH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical efforts for multiple clinical studies across a program.
• Formulate and oversee analyses of clinical trial data and communicate results cross-functionally.
• Lead regulatory submissions from a biostatistics perspective and respond to regulatory requests.
• Author protocol sections on statistical methods and review other sections.
• Develop SAPs and analysis specifications; author shells for tables, figures and listings.
• Provide statistical input to IDMC/IRC charters and project management plans.
• Oversee CROs for outsourced statistical activities and QC results.
